Group matwork classes are recommended for those who like the social aspect of a class environment, and who can commit to a scheduled time each week. Our matwork classes also use small equipment and props, to support and challenge you.
There are currently 37 group matwork classes each week, which are limited to a maximum of 6 participants, and run in blocks of 5-7 weeks, alongside the school terms.
Private matwork sessions are tailored for the individual, and are extremely beneficial for enhancing performance training, and for targeted results, such as pre and post-surgery, or injury rehabilitation. Those new to exercise will benefit from an initial private session, before joining a group class.
The Pilates equipment studio is the ideal environment to support movement, whatever your age and experience. The equipment uses spring tension to provide support, but to also add resistance to increase the challenge. Pilates equipment studio sessions are the perfect way to re-educate the body towards more intelligent movement patterns. They are perfect for anyone who would prefer to work on their own individual movement goals or who may have had any injuries or movement imbalances.
All mats and equipment are provided. Wear comfortable clothing, including a pair of socks to wear during the class, and bring water to maintain your hydration.
